There is no adult in Africa who has not seen the unacceptable photos and videos of fellow Africans running away from fellow Africans. Year after year, after year! Why us? Why? Africa is the only continent in the world where you can see such disheartening photos and nothing seem to be done about it, by our political class. For us this is unacceptable.

You can help achieve positive change for refugees in Africa. Starting March 2021, AU Watch will be rolling a regional-wide campaign about the state of refugees in Africa. We want the AU and its Members to know how unacceptable we, Africans, see the refugee crisis in Africa.
