Anti-Slavery Day – 18 October
Anti-Slavery Day, 18th October, provides an opportunity to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery, and encourage government, local authorities, companies, charities and individuals to do what they can to address the problem.

Every year more and more charities, individuals, local authorities and even the AU and its Members take action to mark Anti-Slavery Day.
At AU Watch we host Anti-Slavery Day Awards to recognise journalists, filmmakers and broadcasters who have exposed issues of modern slavery, and to celebrate organisations and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the fight against modern slavery.

It is a perfect day to raise awareness within your own organisation and with your customers, stakeholders and partners. Perhaps you could use the day to celebrate the steps you are taking in the fight against trafficking as you work towards a slave-free supply chain, and to highlight how your membership of AU Watch is helping to fund anti-slavery projects around the world run by our parent charity, Hope for Justice.

Would you like us to work with you on your plans for the day, and for us to share with you useful resources, awareness and campaign materials? Let us know using the form below and a member of the Slave-Free Alliance team will be in touch!
