AU WATCH

Campaign and Advocacy

AU Watch is a movement of passionate, committed, everyday people. Together we use our voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to social injustice and an Africa that is politically and economically united. Our campaigners receive training, support, and inspiration to become skilled advocates. In time, they learn to effectively advise policy makers, guiding them towards decisions that improve everything that needs improving in Africa.
We empower people by helping them voice their opinions and feelings, stand up for their rights and demand justice from their leaders. And if they don’t feel able or lack the capacity to do this, we will represent their interests and speak up on their behalf.
Backed by the in-depth research and the political expertise of staff, AU Watch campaigners understands the incredible power they possess to use their voices to change Africa.

Whether you want to get active in your community, make your voice heard or you’re just passionate about Africa – we want you to campaign with us.

Our campaigns involve a lot of people coming together to build momentum and drive change. This includes policy and research experts providing evidence and best practice recommendations, lobbying the AU and its Members.
We do more. We also campaign to drive positive change in society. But to do that we need your help to raise public awareness of the issues we are working on and demand action from decision-makers. Your support is essential if we are to achieve our goals and make Africa to the Africa, we all want.
