Summary

This paper traces the origin of corruption to the spiritual account of human evolution in relevant literatures and argues that corruption is not new but an ancient practice that has no respect for developing, developed and industrialized societies alike. It argues that the fight against corruption started first in some of the African Regional Economic Communities.
